BLG Arbeidsrecht was founded to provide senior employment law expertise at in-house level — without requiring organisations to add permanent headcount.

Organisations engage me when employment law requires speed, judgement and a pragmatic approach. Particularly in situations involving:

– complex individual employee cases
– Works Council and co-determination processes
– long-term sickness absence and dismissal trajectories

My role extends beyond legal analysis. I work closely with HR, management and operational teams, ensuring that legal frameworks translate into workable and well-considered decisions.

My background is strongly in-house. As Legal Business Partner Employment Law within an international and highly regulated workforce environment, I operated at both strategic and operational level. Balancing legal risk with business reality shaped how I work today: pragmatic, direct and focused on solutions that are legally sound and workable in practice. Before working in-house, I worked as an employment lawkyer at several Dutch lawfirms.

Organisations engage me when employment law becomes part of strategic decision-making — not just a formal requirement. In situations involving restructuring, complex individual cases or workforce change, clarity and judgement matter more than lengthy legal analysis.
